Introducing Fereshteh:

Tehran like any other capital cities, has uptowns and downtowns. Fereshte is a very lavish street in Tehran, it is one of the top rich neighborhoods located in District 1 of Tehran. Tehran is divided to 22 districts, district 1 being the highest, geographically and in terms of class level.

Fereshteh is a famous street in district Elahiyeh of Tehran. It is considered one of the old neighborhoods in Tehran. The land was actually three big gardens when it was found in the beginning; which is now formed into three important embassies: Embassy of Germany, Turkey and Russia.

Fereshteh used to have old garden villas but now tall buildings and expensive towers has taken their place.

The towers in Fereshteh have incredible architecture and a lot of facilities such as Roof garden, home gym, private pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and even their own massage room. They provide everything you need in a luxury tower and everything you need to relax and have the peace and quiet in your home.

Because of all the good features that Fereshteh has, many famous Iranian celebrities have lived there in the past and some still are.

Important people like Iranian nuclear physicist and senator Mahmoud Hessabi’s house was there and has now turned into a museum where all his stuff is kept and displayed for people to see.

Iranian wrestler and legend, Gholamreza Takhti’s house used to be in Ferehsteh neighborhood too before he passed away, they even named the street he lived in Takhti street.

Museums in Fereshteh

 Tehran’s Museum of music:

Great for music enthusiasts and people who love to learn about instruments from all over the world. Also the architecture of the museum is incredible, it’s a classical white mansion.

There are 240 instruments from 200 kinds such as Percussion instruments, string instruments, wind or brass instruments, traditional Persian instruments and Gramophones on display in this museum; also a guide that’ll show you around and explain about the instruments and their history.

Mahmoud Hessabi Museum
